I'm Attia

I am a negotiation and influence expert, former MIT faculty member, adjunct professor at the University of Michigan, and the founder of Attia Qureshi Consulting — where I have spent two decades helping leaders, teams, and organizations negotiate better outcomes in every room they walk into.
My work spans Fortune 500 boardrooms, classrooms, and conflict zones around the world, where I have worked on behalf of the U.S. State Department in some of the most complex environments imaginable. I bring the same framework — principled, interest-based, and relentlessly human — to every context.
And I wrote Never Settle — published by Simon & Schuster and endorsed by Robert Cialdini, Daniel Pink, Chris Voss, and Eric Barker — because I wanted to put everything I've learned into the hands of anyone who's ever walked away from a conversation thinking: I should have asked for more.
I teach negotiation at MIT's Sloan School of Management, and previously at Harvard Law, and was an associate at the Harvard Negotiation Project. I was coauthor with Roger Fisher and Alan Sharp of Getting It Done and Negotiation Analysis with Howard Raiffa and David Metcalfe.
I am also a graduate of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy.
